Babban Shugaban ‘yan Sandan Najeriya Mohammed Adamu, ya fada wa babbar kotun tarayya da ke Abuja cewa doka ta ba shi damar ci gaba da kasancewa a ofis har zuwa Shekarar 2023 ko 2024.
Ya fadi haka ne a cikin takardun kotu da ya gabatar don kalubalantar karar da ke kalubalantar karin wa’adin watanni uku da Shugaba Muhammadu Buhari ya ba shi a watan Fabrairu.
Premium Times a ranar Litinin ta samu takardar kin amincewar ta farko tare da rakiyar takardun da Sufeton ya gabatar ta hannun lauyan sa, Alex Izinyon, wani Babban Lauyan Najeriya.
Muhammed Adamu ya cika shekaru 35 a kan aiki a ranar 1 ga Fabrairu, amma ya samu karin wa’adin watanni uku daga Shugaba Muhammadu Buhari a ranar 3 ga Fabrairu.
An ruwaito cewa wani lauya mazaunin Abuja, Maxwell Opara, ya shigar da kara a ranar 3 ga Fabrairu don kalubalantar tsawaita wa’adin. Mista Opara ya yi jayayya a karar sa cewa ta hanyar sashi na 215 na Kundin Tsarin Mulkin Najeriya da kuma sashi na 7 na Dokar ‘Yan Sandan Najeriya, 2020, Muhammad Adamu ba zai iya ci gaba da aikinsa ba kasancewar ya kamata ya yi ritaya a watan.
Amma Shugaban ‘Yan Sandan ya musanta hakan ta bakin lauyansa, cewa lokacin nasa bai kare ba a ranar 1 ga Fabrairu. Sufeton ya bayyana cewa sabon dokar ‘yan sandan Najeriya ta ba shi wa’adin shekaru hudu wanda ba zai kare ba har 2023 ko 2024.
A cewarsa, wa’adinsa zai kare a 2023 idan aka kirga shi daga 2019 lokacin da aka nada shi a matsayin Sufeto-Janar na ‘yan sanda, ko 2024, idan aka kidaya daga 2020 lokacin da sabuwar dokar ‘yan sandan Najeriya ta fara aiki.
